Instagram is absolutely a visual-centered social media network. And it the perfect tool for sectors as restaurants and hotels. But how can make your Instagram account outstanding? That was the first question that the team of Hansar Hotels had asked us.

Challenge

Hansar Hotels & Resorts is a boutique luxury hospitality chain in Thailand. The client was looking a solution to grow its Instagram community. They were targeting Southeast Asian millennials with interests in design and art. Budget available: none.

Solutions

We have launched the Hansar Art Instagram Contest. We invited users to post on Instagram images that represented their concept of “Hansar” (ancient Thai word meaning happiness). The best Instagrammers have been invited to Hansar Bangkok for a full-day workshop with a well-know illustrator and artist, Pomme Chan. A jury had then selected one winner who received as prize a weekend for 2 persons at the brand-new Hansar Pranburi Resort.

Summary

Just in one month, Hansar Hotels Instagram grew of 25%, and organically only. We got more than expected participants to the contest. We also found a creative way to promote the opening of a new property.
